| Position Description: |
| The Lead Instructor is responsible for providing
immediate, on-sight assistance and supervision
during instructional sessions. |
|

| Primary Accountabilities/ Deliverables: |
| |
Recruitment & Retention of Instructors and Students
Provide assistance with procuring parent signatures on Student Learning Plans
Gather studens from EDEP/After-School program and ensure that they are attending instructional sessions
Administer Snacks
Monitor student and instructor sessions
Monitor effectiveness of instructional sessions
Hold parent conferences
when necessary
Collect and distribute student progress reports to school and district officials
Offer support and answer instructor questions
Substitute Teacher when instructors are absent
Offer support and answer instructor questions
Any other responsibilities listed on website as well as duties required to run a successful program
Work with EDEP Director to recruit and retain students |

| Education, Certifications, and Work Related Experiences: |
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Teaching Certificate
Elementary or middle school teaching/tutoring
experience |

management skills
Works both independently
and as part of a team
Display effective
multi-tasking and time management skills
Maintain regular email
communication
Ability to interpret

| Working Conditions: |
| The Lead Instructor will work in
public school settings. They must be present
from the time that students are dismissed from
the regular school day until the completion of
each instructional session. |
